NFPA The National Fire Prevention Association develops and publishes more than 300 consensus codes and standards intended to minimize the possibility and effects of fire and other risks. Shade Works offer a full line of flame resistant fabrics that meet the requirements of NFPA 701. These requirements outline rigid standards for fire testing and flame propagation of household textiles and films including curtains, window shades, drapery, table linens and textile wall hangings. Ambiance and Embroidery from Shade Works Designer Light Filtering Roller, Roman and Panel Track Shades are NFPA certified as are Printed Vinyl and Imagine from Designer Blackout Roller, Roman and Panel Track Shades. Other certified fabric collections include EM Deco and Sheerweave 5000 from 5% Decorative Roller, Roman and Panel Track Shades as well as Sol-Shade from 1%,3%,5% and 10% Basic Roller, Roman and Panel Track Shades. Decorative Shades are textured and very natural looking. The varied but subtle patterns in the fabric will give your windows added dimension and design. The EM Deco collection offer a simple yet subtle weave. These fabrics are designed to provide moderate privacy while reducing overall glare. The Sol-Shade Collection from 1%,3%,5% and 10% Basic Roller, Roman and Panel Track Shades are comprised of 70% PVC and 30% polyester with varying fabric thickness depending on the chosen.
