The Green Approach and Oeko-Tex
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an independent test and certification system for textiles at all stages of processing. The tests for harmful substances include legally banned and controlled substances, chemicals known to be harmful to overall health (but not yet legally controlled) and other general parameters for health protection. Some examples are articles that can be certified include fabrics, textiles, bedding and clothing.
