SW Success Story- January 2014

We recently completed a project in Vancouver, British Columbia that we decided to feature on the SW Blog. Our client was in the middle of a large home renovation and wanted new shades to replace their existing shutters. Their living room shutters had become warped and cracked over time and the client wanted something modern and fresh. Furthermore, the shutters appeared very “surgical” looking and blocked out too much of the incoming light. Consequently, the room always appeared dark. We recommended our Shade Works Premium 2″ Light Filtering Sheer Horizontal Shades that would coordinate well with the updated feel of their home. Sheer Horizontal Shades are elegant and fresh and would allow the client to control the quantity of incoming light in the room. This flexibility is extremely valuable and makes Sheer Horizontal Shades a great option for living rooms. You can see in the below pictures the difference between when the sheers are opened (2nd picture) versus when the sheers are open, allowing light to pass through (1st picture). The client was thrilled with the final product and the overall Shade Works Design Experience! Here are some photos of the finished room!
